Children from three schools in Maastricht work around the theme of child labor and what it meant in the industrial history of Maastricht and in the world today. They create and perform their own Musical responses to several Musical Posctards they have received.

Musical Postcards from New York City, Venezuela, South Korea and Finland will be showcased and performed at this event.

12 August Musical Postcards at Grachtenfestival Amsterdam

17 October Summer Commissions Very Young Composers

For the VYC program to start later this year, a commission was given to all the young composers who voluntarily wanted to compose during the Summer. All compositions are for two instruments ranging from piano to electric guitar.

9 December Musical Postcards in Maastricht
8pm - "De Indringende schoonheid van Liza Ferschtman" by philharmonie zuidnederland, Theater aan het Vrijthof, Maastricht (NL)
During this concert with philharmonie zuidnederland and acclaimed violinist Liza Ferschtman, students from St. Maartenscollege made a Musical Postcard in celebration of 25 years of the Treaty of Maastricht.
