Mohammed Hussein Al-Oeta lives in Beddawi (Lebanon). He lended a flute and made this Musical Postcard melody in just one day. In this melody, he commemorates the Palestinian people who were killed in protests during the Spring of 2018.
His melody was sent to the Pius X College in Almelo (The Netherlands). Vincent, Robin Jan, Bosse and Ohan were touched by the story of Mohammed. In their response to Mohammeds piece they imagined what conflict and war would sound like, as well as the aftermath of a conflict.
The boys formed a band and played for an audience of 600 peers as part of a Christmas Concert. They were accompanied by hoboist Gerlieke Aartsen of Duo Carinho.
